Munish Clinic

Munish Clinic is at Shop No 438/2 in the Main Market area of Village Dariya. Being so close to the Chandigarh Railway Station means there is always a lot of movement. You can hear the trains whistling and the sound of people rushing to catch their rides. The clinic is tucked away among other shops like tea stalls and repair places. It’s a small shop, really, just enough space for a desk, a couple of chairs, and a small area behind a curtain for checkups. Because it’s in the market, people often stop by while they are out buying groceries or fixing their bikes. We see a lot of laborers and people living in the village who have small problems like a fever or a cut that won't heal. It’s not a place where you come for anything major. The floor is tile but it gets dirty fast with all the foot traffic from the street. We keep a water cooler in the corner for anyone who is thirsty. There’s no fancy air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that hums loudly. Sometimes the wait is long because we only have one person seeing patients at a time. It’s a basic, honest place for the locals and travelers who find themselves in Dariya with a health issue near the 160101 area. We keep the ledger updated by hand and try to remember everyone's name who lives in the neighborhood.
