About Mukulesh Bharadwaj Architect – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Chandigarh
Working out of House No. 9 in Sector 11 feels pretty normal. It is a quiet area mostly, which helps when you need to focus on a complicated structural drawing for a few hours. We do not have a big corporate lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you just walk in and someone is probably drinking tea and looking at a site map or a ledger. The office has been in block A for some time now. We handle a lot of different things, from small room layouts to bigger residential stuff. It gets busy, especially when deadlines are tight and the site visits are piled up on the calendar. Sometimes the internet goes out and we have to go back to pencil and paper, which is not always a bad thing. People in Sec-11 know where we are located. We do not really do much advertising because the work usually just comes through word of mouth from neighbors. It is just about getting the measurements right and making sure the contractor understands the sketch. There are piles of samples for tiles and wood sitting in the corner that we really should organize better one of these days. Every day is a bit different, depending on which project is causing the most trouble that morning. It is a job like any other. We spend a lot of time worrying about where the plumbing goes. It is just us here doing the work.
