Ms Kishan Fruit Co

At Ms Kishan Fruit Co, things are usually moving pretty fast. We are located in Sector 22 at shop number 37. It is a place filled with the smell of different fruits depending on what is in season. We get our stock early in the morning from the main markets and spend the first few hours of the day sorting everything out. It’s not a quiet place. There is always someone moving a crate or shouting out prices. We sell to a lot of people from the nearby houses. The floor is often covered in wooden shavings or paper from the fruit packaging. We don't have any air conditioning, just a few fans to keep the air moving so the fruit doesn't spoil too quickly. It’s a tough business because fruits can go bad in a day if you aren't careful. We have to keep a close eye on everything we put out on the display. It is a small team here, mostly family and a couple of helpers. We don't use any fancy displays, just the wooden crates they come in. People like that they can see exactly what they are getting. We’ve been in Sector 22 for years and we know the rhythms of the street. It’s just a normal fruit stall trying to sell good produce every day. We hope to stay here for many more years as long as people keep coming by for their fruit.
