Modern Motor Works

Modern Motor Works is located up on the second floor at No. Scf 313 in the Motor Market area of Manimajra. Being on the second floor makes things a bit different than the shops downstairs, but we’ve got a good system for getting things up and down. The Motor Market is always a hive of activity, with people constantly looking for parts or getting their vehicles looked at. Our space is usually pretty crowded with motors and various engine parts scattered around. We’ve been here long enough that the other shop owners nearby are all familiar faces. We focus on motor repairs and refurbishing parts that people bring in. It’s the kind of work that requires a lot of patience and greasy hands. Sometimes a job takes much longer than we thought it would because of a stubborn bolt or a part that’s hard to find. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations in the shop. It’s just workbenches, tools, and the smell of petrol and oil. Most of our customers are regulars who trust us to take a look at their engines when something goes wrong. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Manimajra, just a reliable one where you can get an honest job done. It gets loud with all the hammering and testing, but that’s just life in the market. We keep our doors open late most days to finish up whatever is on the bench for people.
