Mehta Ritesh Architect

I’ve been working out of the office here in Bsnl Society for a while now. Sector 50-C is a quiet area, and it suits the way I like to get things done. Being an architect means I spend a lot of time at a desk with sketches and plans spread out everywhere. It’s mostly just me and a small team dealing with local projects. People stop by 2462 sometimes just to ask a quick question about a wall or a roof. We keep things pretty simple. There’s always coffee on and usually a stack of blueprints that need looking at. It isn't a fancy studio with glass walls or anything like that. Just a regular workspace where we try to figure out how to make buildings work better for the folks living in them. Some days are just spent on the phone or checking measurements twice. It can get messy when we are in the middle of a big project, but that’s just how it goes. We know the neighbors and the local shops around here. If you are walking through the society, you’ll probably see our sign. I’ve lived in this area long enough to know the weather and the way the light hits the buildings, which helps when you’re planning a house. We don’t do big speeches or fancy presentations. We just draw what needs to be built and try to make sure it stands up straight. It’s honest work.
