Deesha Design House

Our shop, Deesha Design House, is at Sco 705 Nac Manimajra. It’s a bit of a walk-up, but once you’re here, it’s a quiet space to get things done. We spend most of our time with fabrics, sketches, and measuring tapes. It’s a bit messy sometimes with thread all over the floor and fabric scraps on every chair, but that’s just how it goes when you’re making things from scratch. We aren't a big factory with machines doing everything. We do things on a smaller scale here. Most of our days are spent talking to people about what they want to wear or how they want a room to look. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just like making things that look right and fit well. Manimajra is a good place for a business like ours because there’s always something happening nearby. We’ve been at Sco 705 for long enough that the walls feel familiar. We aren't trying to be a high-fashion brand with a runway. We just want to do good work for the people who walk through our door. Sometimes we stay late to finish a project, and other days it’s slow enough to catch up on cleaning or organizing the buttons. It’s a real business run by real people who care about the details. We don't use polished language to describe it. It’s just design work, plain and simple, done by hand most of the time.
