Laxmi Crockery is located at Palco House, specifically near Gate No. 1 in Dariya Village. We are right opposite the railway station, so we hear the trains passing by all day long. It’s a sound we don’t even notice anymore. Being in Dariya Village means there’s a lot of foot traffic and it feels very much like a community. The shop itself is packed with all sorts of items. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, filled with plates, bowls, and whatever else people need for their kitchens. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped because we try to fit so much in, but we like having a lot of stock on hand. The floor is a bit uneven in places, and the lighting is just basic tube lights that flicker once in a while. We don't have a team of people in suits; it's just a few of us who know where everything is hidden. When someone asks for a specific set, we usually have to move three other boxes to get to it. It’s a bit of a workout. We get a lot of commuters stopping by on their way home from the station. It’s an honest place where we just sell what people need without any fuss. The dust from the station gets in sometimes, but we just wipe it off and keep going.
