Lall Ripudaman Singh Architect

If you find yourself in Sector 15-C, you’ll likely pass by H.No.2006 where I’ve set up my architectural practice. My name is Lall Ripudaman Singh, and this has been my base for quite some time now. Operating out of a house instead of a commercial plaza makes the whole process feel more grounded. The office is basically a room filled with drafting tools, old files, and a lot of sketches. It’s not perfectly tidy, but I know where everything is. Sector 15-C is a familiar part of town for me. I like the trees along the road and the fact that the postman knows exactly where to drop the mail. I don’t have a team of secretaries or a shiny lobby. It’s just me and the work. When people come to see me at H.No.2006, they usually sit across from my desk and we just talk through ideas. There’s no corporate pressure here. I take my time with things because that’s how good design happens. Sometimes I’ll take a walk around the block just to clear my head before getting back to the drawing board. It’s a simple life and a simple way of working. I’ve always preferred the personal touch that comes with a home-based office. It feels more honest and less like a business transaction. This is just where I do what I do, day in and day out.
