Sector 38 is a quiet residential area with plenty of trees and wide roads. Our office is basically a house where we have set up our workspace. Arvind is usually the one you will talk to if you call the numbers we have listed. We handle a lot of the coordination from here because it is a central spot for the region. The house has a small porch where we sit sometimes when the weather is nice in the winter. In the summer, we mostly stay inside with the coolers on because it gets very hot. It is not like those big glass offices in the IT park; it is much more relaxed and low-key. We have our computers and files spread out in the main living area. It feels more personal this way. We deal with a lot of phone calls throughout the day, checking on shipments and talking to the distributors. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to say hello or ask a question. We like being in a residential sector because it is peaceful and we can actually focus on the work without too much noise from the main roads. It is just a straightforward place where we handle the gypsum business for this part of India without any big fuss.
