Kuljit & Associates

Up on the first floor of SCO 133-135 in Sector 17 C, that is where you will find Kuljit & Associates. It’s a busy part of the city, so there is always something happening right outside our windows. The office feels lived-in because we spend so much of our time here. We’ve got stacks of blueprints and old files in the corners, and the desks are usually covered in pens and rulers. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, but once you’re here, it’s a calm enough spot to sit down and figure out a floor plan. We are a small group of people who just like the technical side of architecture. We don't spend money on expensive decor because we'd rather focus on getting the drawings done correctly. Usually, there is a radio playing softly in the background while someone is drafting. We take turns making sure there is enough paper in the machines and that the site visits are scheduled for the afternoon. Sometimes the traffic in Sector 17 makes it hard to get around, but being central helps us stay connected to everything. We have seen the neighborhood change a lot since we first moved in. Most of the people we work with are local business owners or families who want to fix up their older properties. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We don't do much marketing because people around here know where we are.
