Kr Anand Engineer& Contractors

We are out in the village of Sandhir, which falls under the Nilokheri tehsil in the Karnal district of Haryana. Being located in a VPO means we are right in the heart of the rural area, which is where most of our work happens anyway. KR Anand is a family-run sort of thing, focusing on engineering and contracting. It is a lot of outdoor work, so you will often find our boots covered in mud or dust from the local sites. We don't sit in an air-conditioned office all day. We are usually out checking on projects or talking to the workers. Haryana is known for its hard-working people, and we try to live up to that. The office in Sandhir is where we keep the machinery and the heavy tools. It isn't a place for fancy suits or corporate talk. We speak plainly and get straight to the point. If something is broken, we fix it. If a road needs laying, we lay it. Our days are long, often starting before dawn and ending after the sun has gone down. We have been doing this for a long time in the Karnal district, so everyone around here knows who we are. We don't need a website to tell our story; the work we've done in the villages speaks for itself. It’s just honest labor and keeping our word to the people we work for. We eat our meals together and start again the next day. It’s a simple life and we are proud of the roads we have helped build.
