You can find me at H.No.3301 in Sector 40-D. I’ve been working as an architect out of this location for several years. My day is usually a mix of sitting at my drafting board and driving out to different sites to check on progress. It's just me running the show here, so I do all the drawing, the planning, and the phone calls. Sector 40-D is a quiet area, which is good for when I need to focus on complicated floor plans or structural details. I don't use any flashy jargon. I just explain things in plain English so everyone knows what’s going on with their project. My office is full of rolls of paper and various material samples like bricks and tiles. People come to me when they want to build a new house or maybe just add an extra floor to their existing one. I spend a lot of time dealing with the local municipal regulations, which can be a real headache. But that’s part of the job. I try to make sure my drawings are accurate so there aren’t any big mistakes once the builders start digging. It’s a slow process sometimes, but I like to see things done right. I’m not looking to be the biggest firm around, just a reliable person who knows how to put a building together. Often, I end up working late into the evening because I want to get the details just right.
