Kharbanda Shweta Architect

My office is over at Housing No.1319 in Sector 50B, part of the Progressive Society. It’s a residential area, so it stays fairly peaceful most of the day. As an architect, having that quiet is pretty important when you’re trying to get a complicated plan right. Kharbanda Shweta Architect is basically a small setup where I do most of the designing and drafting myself. There are stacks of paper everywhere and my pens are always running out of ink at the wrong time. I’ve lived and worked in this society for a while now, so I know the layout of these buildings better than most. Most days involve a lot of sitting at the computer and then running out to check on a project nearby. It’s not a big corporate operation. It’s just me and sometimes a trainee or a freelancer. We talk to clients right here at the table, usually over some tea. Sector 50B has a certain look to it, and I try to keep that in mind when I’m working on new ideas. Sometimes the work is frustrating, especially when the regulations change or a client changes their mind for the tenth time. But you just deal with it. I don't use a lot of fancy jargon. I just explain what can be done with the budget and the space available. It’s a very local, hands-on way of working that seems to suit the Progressive Society vibe perfectly.
