Khaitan Electrical Ltd is right here in Baltana, specifically in Saini Vihar over in Adarsh Nagar. It’s a busy spot in Patiala district. We’ve been operating out of this unit at 203 for a good while now. Most days just involve sorting through parts and making sure everything is in its place. The village area has changed a lot since we started. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on the street outside, but that is just how it is around here. We handle all sorts of electrical components and supplies. Usually, someone is always in the shop making sure the inventories are correct. It’s not a fancy office, just a practical space where work gets done. My desk is tucked in the corner and the shelves are filled with boxes of wires and switches. People from around the neighborhood stop by often to ask questions or pick up things they need. Patiala weather can be tough, especially in the summer heat, but we keep the fans going. It is a straightforward operation. We don’t really do anything flashy. It’s mostly about keeping up with the daily tasks and making sure we don’t lose track of orders. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the small table near the door. We just try to get through the list every day. It’s a local place where we know the people nearby. Being in Phase I of Saini Vihar means we see a lot of the same faces. It feels like a regular part of the community.
