Kaur Gurinder Architect

Kaur Gurinder Architect is based out of House No. 1056 in Sector 37B. It is a pretty quiet area and I’ve lived and worked here for quite a while now. It’s much easier than commuting across town every day. The office is basically just one room set aside with a large table for drawings and my computer. Sometimes the neighbor’s dog starts barking right when I’m trying to focus, but you get used to that living in a residential sector. 37B has a lot of trees which is nice during the summer when it gets really hot outside. I usually keep the curtains half-closed to keep the glare off the screen. It’s just me working here most of the time. Occasionally a client stops by and we sit in the small area near the window to talk about their house plans. It's not a big corporate setup. Just a simple space where I handle my projects. The mailman knows exactly where to leave the packages now. I’ve been in this part of the sector for years so I know most of the people walking by in the mornings. It’s a steady kind of life. There is always a stack of blueprints on the corner of the desk waiting to be checked. I make my own tea and keep working until the light starts to fade. It’s a good way to work without all the noise of a city center. House 1056 is just home and a place to think.
