Most people come in because they’ve got a stone bothering them or some other urology trouble. It’s a straightforward clinic. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. Just some desks, some treatment rooms, and the equipment we need. The staff here has been together for a while, so we know how to handle the busy morning rushes. Sometimes the wait is a little long if a case gets complicated, but we try to move as fast as we can. It’s a local spot, not a big hospital chain. We know many of the patients by name because they live nearby. Dealing with kidney stones isn't fun for anyone, so we just try to get the tests done and figure out the plan. The parking can be a bit tight when it’s busy, so keep that in mind. We’ve got the usual machines for lithotripsy and all that. It’s a functional place, aimed at getting people back on their feet. No bells and whistles here, just the medical stuff and a few of us trying to keep it all running smoothly throughout the week. We keep some extra chairs in the hallway for the overflow days. It's just a regular, honest place to get checked out and treated. We have been here for years and the neighborhood has changed a lot, but our work stays about the same.
