We are situated in Sector-47-D in Chandigarh. This is where we handle the operations for Jsw Steel Ltd. in this region. Chandigarh is a bit different from other places because of the way it's laid out in sectors, but our work is still the same as anywhere else. We deal with steel supplies and all the administration that comes with it. The office is a simple building in a quiet part of the sector. It’s not a big glass tower; it’s just a place where we can sit down and get our work done. We have a few desks and a small area for visitors to wait if they need to. Most of our day is spent on the phone or working on the computer. We keep track of where the steel is going and who needs what. Since we are in the 160047 area, we are close to some of the local markets, so there is always some activity nearby. The winters here can get quite cold, so we have heaters going, and the summers are the opposite. We don’t really go in for the whole corporate culture thing. We just talk to people like normal and try to keep things moving. It’s a steady job and we like the routine of it. We know the local contractors and builders who come by often. We just provide the steel and make sure the paperwork is in order before they leave the office for their sites.
