Jain Glass

Our shop, Jain Glass, is over in Sector 22C in Chandigarh, specifically at SCO 2935-36. It is a good spot because we are right opposite the JW Marriott, which is a big landmark everyone knows. Being in Sector 22 means there is always something going on nearby. We have been dealing with glass of all types for quite a long time now. The shop is often full of large sheets of glass leaning against the walls, so we have to be careful when moving around. It gets a bit dusty with all the cutting and polishing we do, but that is just part of the trade. We aren't a big fancy showroom; it’s more of a practical workspace where we get things cut to size for whoever walks in. Sometimes a homeowner needs a small mirror, and other times a contractor needs a whole lot of window panes for a new building. We just take the orders and get to work. The staff here has been together for a while, and we’ve gotten pretty fast at what we do. Lunch is usually a quick affair so we can get back to the machines. We don't really do much marketing because word of mouth in Chandigarh is usually enough to keep us busy. It is a steady business, and we like the fact that we can see the results of our labor in the buildings all over this part of the city.
