Jagir Industries

Our place, Jagir Industries, is located at 529 in the Industrial Area, Phase-Ii. It’s a big, grey building that looks like many others on this stretch, but it’s home to us for most of the week. The sounds of machinery are the background music to our lives here. We have a lot of floor space, but somehow it always feels full of materials and ongoing work. It’s a practical environment—concrete floors, high ceilings, and the smell of metal and oil. We don’t go in for anything fancy because the work we do doesn’t require it. The guys on the floor have been with us for a long time, and they know the machines better than anyone. We mostly just keep our heads down and get through the daily production schedule. Phase-Ii is a busy part of the industrial zone, so there are always trucks coming in and out, which can make the road outside a bit of a headache during shift changes. We eat our lunch together in a small break area, usually talking about the news or the weather. It isn’t a corporate office with carpets and air conditioning everywhere; it’s a working factory where things get made. We take pride in the fact that we show up every day and put in the effort. Sometimes things break down or materials are late, and we have to scramble to fix it, but that’s just part of the business. We like the honesty of manual work.
