Innovation Inc Design Studio

Innovation Inc Design Studio is a small operation over in Sector 7. We are at number 42. It’s a straightforward address for a straightforward kind of place. We don’t go in for all the bells and whistles you might find at some of the bigger firms. Our office is basically just a room with enough desk space for us to do our work without getting in each other's way. Sector 7 has its own vibe, and we’ve fit into the neighborhood pretty well over the years. You’ll usually find us here from early morning until late evening, mostly because once we get started on a design, it’s hard to stop. The floor is usually covered in discarded sketches and the occasional coffee cup that hasn’t been picked up yet. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that; if you come by, one of us will just look up from our desk and say hello. It’s a very hands-on environment. We spend a lot of time debating the small details that most people wouldn’t even notice, but that’s just how we are. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few calendars and some scribbled notes pinned up near the phone. It’s a bit basic, but it’s where all the actual work happens. We like the honesty of the space and the fact that we can just focus on the design without any distractions. By the time Friday rolls around, the place looks like a paper factory exploded, but we usually spend Saturday morning tidying up a little.
