Sunhome Cable Industries

Sunhome Cable Industries is located at No. 137, which is pretty close to the Sky Hotel. Having the hotel nearby is great because everyone knows where that is. We’re in a modest building that doesn't really stand out much from the street. Inside, it’s mostly rolls of cable and some basic machinery. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s our place. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighborhood has changed a bit around us, but we’ve kept doing the same thing. The office part is just a couple of desks shoved into a corner where we keep the receipts and the phone. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the entrance, and we have to go out and ask them to move. It’s just part of the daily routine. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just show up in the morning, see what needs to be done, and get to it. The staff is small, just a few local guys who know the work well. We share a laugh now and then, but mostly we’re just focused on the cables. The building itself could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but that’s not really a priority right now. We’d rather spend that time finishing the orders we have. It’s a practical way to run a business, and it seems to work out okay for everyone involved.
