Our factory and office are situated at No. 182/39 in the Phase-1 Industrial Area. Being in an industrial zone means there is always noise from machines and trucks moving around. Essel Bathfittings has been here for a while now. When you walk inside, you will see a lot of metal parts and finished taps or shower heads sitting in crates. It is not a showroom where everything is shiny and under bright lights. It is a place where things actually get made. The floors are concrete and there is always someone moving a trolley around. We have a set routine for the production line and another for the office staff who handle the billing. It gets quite loud during the middle of the shift, so we usually have to talk a bit louder to be heard over the equipment. We do not spend much time on fancy decorations or slogans. We just focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the finish on the bath fittings is what it is supposed to be. Lunch breaks are usually taken together in the small area we have set aside. It is a simple setup but it works for us. Living and working in the industrial area means you get used to the pace of manufacturing. Some days are long, especially when we have a big batch to finish, but that is the nature of the business. We keep our doors open and just get on with the daily production.
