Harkirat Singh runs things from Mohali 230. It’s a simple setup, more of a personal workspace than a big corporate office. Located right in the heart of the area, it’s easy to get to if you know where you’re going. The room is usually filled with the sound of a radio playing in the background. There are a lot of sketches and notebooks piled up on the main desk. It isn’t the most organized place in the world, but everything has its spot. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at different sites, so the office is often empty for a few hours in the middle of the day. When we are here, it’s all about getting the details right on the drawings. Mohali is a busy place and being at 230 puts us right in the middle of it all. We don’t have a big team or a lot of fancy equipment. It’s mostly just a computer, some pens, and a lot of patience. People usually call us first before dropping by because we might be out checking on a foundation or talking to a contractor. It’s a practical way to work and it keeps the overhead low. We don’t need much else besides a solid table and a good light to work under. Sometimes the neighbors come by to ask for advice on a small repair or just to chat about the weather.
