Grasim Industries Ltd, Mohali

Our office for Grasim Industries Ltd in the Mohali area is actually located at Kothi No. 1006 in Sector 44B, Chandigarh. It’s a residential-style building which makes it feel a bit more comfortable than a cold office block. Sector 44B is a well-known part of the city, so it’s easy for people to find us. We handle the business for the Mohali region from here. The rooms are filled with desks and cupboards full of files. We don’t have a big reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us working at our computers or talking on our mobiles to the suppliers. It’s a practical way to run things. We’ve been here for a while and we’ve seen the neighborhood change as more people move into Chandigarh. The trees outside provide some nice shade during the hot summer months. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, there might be papers scattered around. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just want to get the orders right and make sure everyone is satisfied with the work we do. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. From answering the door to checking the stock, it’s all part of the job. We like the pace here. It’s steady and keeps us on our toes without being too overwhelming for us.
