Grasim Ind Ltd (Cement Division)

Over in Bank Colony, specifically at House Number 115, you’ll find us. This is the cement division for Grasim Ind Ltd here in Chandigarh. It’s a bit different because it’s a house address, so it feels more personal than a big industrial park. Chandigarh is known for being organized, and we try to keep our little corner the same way. The colony is a nice place to work. We don't have a corporate lobby. Instead, you walk in and it’s just a regular setup where we manage the cement side of things. It can get busy with calls and people asking about supplies, but we take it as it comes. We aren't into using big marketing slogans. We just tell people what we have and when it can get there. The staff here has been around for a while, and we know the 160101 area quite well. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon and talk about things other than work. It keeps the atmosphere light. We don’t really see the need for a polished image. We are just people working with cement logistics and sales, trying to do a decent job every day. It’s practical, sometimes a bit messy with all the paperwork, but it’s our reality here in Chandigarh. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the tasks at hand.
