Chandigarh is a very organized place, and we are located right in Sector 38 West. Our office for Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd is at House Number 5312. It is a straightforward location in a neighborhood that stays pretty calm most of the time. We do not have any big signs or fancy glass doors. It is just a regular building where we manage the regional manufacturing support. Most of our day involves talking to transporters and making sure the local supply chain stays on track. The winters here get quite chilly, so we usually have a heater running under the desk while we work through the spreadsheets. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We keep the files organized in old metal cupboards and our desks are covered in sticky notes. It is a practical way to work. We don’t care for fancy titles or corporate talk. Everyone here just does what is needed to get the shipments moved. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit in the summer, which is just part of living in this part of the country. We take that time to step outside for some air. We are an honest, hardworking group just trying to do right by the company and the local customers who rely on us.
