Glass Palace

Our place is at No. 43 on Madhya Marg, right in Sector 7-c. It is a pretty well-known area and easy enough to get to if you are in this part of the city. We have a good amount of glass on display, but it’s more of a working shop than a fancy gallery. People come in looking for stuff for their homes or offices, and we try to help them find what works. The floors are usually covered in a bit of grit from the cutting, no matter how much we sweep. We have a few long-time workers who have been here since the beginning. They know exactly where every type of glass is kept in the back. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed most of the time, though it gets a bit hectic when we have a big order to get out. We don’t bother with much advertising because word of mouth usually keeps us busy enough. Madhya Marg is a busy street, so there is always someone coming through the door. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or checking on deliveries. It is just a regular shop where we focus on doing the job right. We don't have any big corporate plans; we just want to keep the shop running and help the people who walk in. Our small staff stays late when needed, but mostly we just stick to our regular hours.
