Gilco Manufacturers And Exports

We run our manufacturing and export business from a house in Sector 39 D, Chandigarh. The house number is 3054 B. It might seem a bit odd to have an export business operating out of a residential sector, but it has worked for us for a long time. We handle all our orders and the mountain of paperwork right from here. Chandigarh is such an organized city, so finding Sector 39 isn’t too hard for the delivery drivers or the people we do business with. We spend most of our hours dealing with shipping schedules and trying to make sure the manufacturing side stays on schedule. It can get really hectic when a big order is about to go out, and the phone doesn't stop ringing. We’ve been Gilco for quite a while now, and we just focus on getting the products out the door. The rooms are usually filled with samples and folders. We don’t have a showroom or any fancy displays. It’s just us working through the daily tasks of an export business. Sometimes the neighbors see the trucks, but we mostly just keep to ourselves and get the job done. It’s a simple setup where everyone knows their role. We don’t use any complicated words to describe what we do. We just make the items and send them to wherever they are supposed to go. That is the long and short of it.
