We are located at 1114 in Sector 46B. This is up in Chandigarh, and the pin code is 160047. The office is part of the Geological Survey Of India. It is a standard government-style building, so it is nothing too flashy or modern. We have been in this sector for quite some time now. The office is filled with metal cabinets, wooden desks, and a lot of old reports. We spend our days going through data and organizing various geological records. Chandigarh is a very organized city by nature, and our office tries to follow that same pattern, though sometimes the paperwork piles up faster than we can file it away. It is generally a quiet place to work. We do not have a lot of walk-in visitors during the day. Most of our work is internal or done for specific regional projects. The staff here has been around for many years and we all know the daily routines. We have our morning tea, check the logs, and then get to work. It is not a high-pressure corporate environment where everyone is rushing around. We just have a job to do for the survey and we do it. Sector 46B is a nice area to be in. It is mostly residential around our building, so it does not feel too crowded or noisy. We just keep things moving along at a steady, reliable pace. We do not need any extras.
