Gee Ess Boutique

We have been operating Gee Ess Boutique out of Sector 38 for quite some time now. The place isn't very large, but it is packed with fabrics and half-finished garments hanging from the racks. There is almost always the sound of a sewing machine running in the background while someone else is at the big wooden table cutting out patterns. We have bits of thread all over the floor, and the pin cushions are always full. People from around the sector come in with their own ideas or sometimes just a piece of cloth they bought and do not know what to do with. We spend a lot of time doing measurements and pinning things up to make sure they fit right. It is not a fancy showroom with mannequins and bright lights. It is more of a workshop where we actually get the sewing done. Sometimes we get a bit behind when there are a lot of orders at once, especially during the wedding season, but we just keep at it until the work is finished. The tea kettle is usually on in the corner, and we take turns making a cup when things get a bit too hectic. It is a simple life here in Sector 38, just making clothes that people can actually wear and feel okay in. We like the local feel of the neighborhood and seeing the same faces every week.
