Gautam & Associates

Gautam & Associates is over at Sco-13 in the Sector 20D main market. We are on the first floor. Being near Labour Chowk means there is always a lot of activity right outside our windows. You can hear the horns and the people talking all day long. The office is a simple one. We have our desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of paper. We handle various associate and consultancy tasks. It is not the kind of place with a big reception or a fancy coffee machine for guests. We just pull up a chair for whoever walks in. Chandigarh is a planned city, but Sector 20 always feels a bit more lived-in and busy than the others. We have been working out of this office for years. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the paperwork to worry about that. Sometimes we have to go down to the government offices or meet people at the chowk. It is just a regular local business life. We don't have any big slogans or anything. We just take the files as they come and try to finish them by the end of the week. It gets quiet in the evenings once the market starts to close down, and that is usually when we do our best work. It is not glamorous, but it is what we do.
