Garg Ajay Kumar Architect

I’m Garg Ajay Kumar and I run my architecture practice out of 1668 in the E.S.I.C. Society in Sector -51-B. It’s a quiet residential area for the most part, which I like because it lets me focus on my drawings without too much noise. My office is basically just a room filled with books, old models, and rolls of tracing paper. It might look like a mess to someone else, but I know exactly where everything is. I’ve been working as an architect for a long time and I still prefer drawing by hand when I’m first starting a design. People from the society often drop by just to say hello or ask for a bit of advice on a renovation they’re thinking about. I don't mind the interruptions. It’s nice to be part of a community like Sector -51-B. I don't have a big fancy website or a sales team. Most people find me because someone else told them I do okay work. I try to keep my designs simple and practical. There’s no point in building something that looks good but doesn't work for the people living in it. That’s my basic approach to everything. I spend my days sketching, making phone calls to contractors, and checking on how things are going at various sites. It’s a one-man show mostly, and I like it that way. Just me and the work.
