If you go to the main market in Sector 22C, you’ll find us on the first floor above the shops. We are right in the middle of all the bustle of Sector 22. It’s a loud area but once you come upstairs to Embee Financial Services, it gets a little quieter. We handle money matters and paperwork for people around Chandigarh. There are about ten of us working here in a space filled with desks and those tall filing cabinets that never seem to stay shut. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to banks or checking numbers on screens. It can be a bit stressful when the markets are moving fast, but we just stick to our tasks. The carpets are a little worn in the spots where we walk the most. We get a lot of walk-ins since we are right in the market, so someone is always coming through the door with a question about their accounts. We keep a stack of forms on the front counter and a jar of pens that half the time don't work. It’s not a shiny corporate headquarters, just a practical office where we do our jobs. Most of us have worked together for years so we know how everyone takes their coffee. We stay until the work is finished, even if the sun has already gone down over the market. We just like to keep things moving along for everyone who comes in to see us.
