Ekam Enterprise

We’ve been down here in the basement of SCF-432 for a while now. Mani Majra is a busy place, especially around the New Motor Market. It gets quite loud with all the engines and people shouting, but you get used to it. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot. We mostly just deal with the daily flow of folks coming in. It’s a bit cramped with all the boxes and stuff, but it works for us. Sometimes the light isn't great, but we have enough lamps. Usually, we're just busy sorting things out. We see a lot of regular faces from the neighboring shops. It's just a regular workplace. Sometimes we step out for tea at the corner. The stairs can be a bit steep if you aren't looking. Mani Majra has changed over the years, more traffic now for sure. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of things to do. It’s not fancy, just concrete walls and metal shelves. People stop by to ask directions sometimes because we’re tucked away. We don’t mind. It's just how it is around here. Usually, by the time we pack up, the market is finally starting to quiet down. We just lock the shutters and head home like everyone else. It’s a steady kind of life. There is always grease on the floor somewhere and a faint smell of diesel hanging in the air from the street.
