Dutta Atul Architect

Dutta Atul Architect is based over in Manimajra at 5035/2 in the Modern Complex. It’s a busy little corner of the world. I’ve spent many hours sitting at my drafting table looking out at the neighborhood. The office is usually a bit of a mess with blueprints rolled up in corners and samples of materials scattered on the tables. I find that I work better when things are a bit lived-in rather than perfectly tidy. People come in to talk about their houses or shops they want to build. We sit down, have some water, and look at the drawings together. It’s a practical process. I don’t use a lot of big words to explain things. I just tell people what will work and what might cause them trouble later on. Manimajra has changed a lot since I first started here, but the Modern Complex is still a steady place to be. I like the routine of opening up the shop in the morning and seeing the same faces walking to work nearby. We don’t have a huge staff, so when you call, you usually get me or someone who knows exactly what’s happening with your project. It makes life easier for everyone. We just keep our heads down and focus on the lines and the measurements. That’s really all there is to it at the end of the day. No reason to make things more difficult than they need to be.
