Dtdc Courier And Cargo

Up here in Panchkula, specifically in Sector 15, things are a bit quieter than in the big cities, but our courier office stays busy enough. We are over at number 2693. It’s a small shopfront where people come in to drop off letters or boxes they need to send somewhere else. There is a heavy weighing scale by the door that has been there since we opened. Most of the day is spent taping up packages and writing out labels by hand because the printer likes to act up sometimes. We see all sorts of people coming through the door, from students sending papers to parents sending sweets to their kids. It’s nice to chat with the regulars while they fill out the forms. The cargo side of things keeps us on our toes too, with the bigger trucks coming by to pick up the heavy stuff. The office gets a bit cluttered with all the envelopes and bubble wrap, but we know where everything is. We don't have any fancy uniforms or a lobby with chairs. It's just a counter and some shelves. Sometimes the delivery boys are running late because of the rain, and we have to explain that to the customers. We just do our best to keep things moving. It’s a straightforward job, and we’ve been at this spot for a long time now, so most people in the sector know where to find us.
