Our office is tucked away in Sector 34-A, right at the back of where Piccadilly Cinema is. Most people find us by looking for the cinema first because the Sco 100-101 entrance can be a little tricky if you aren't from around here. It is a busy spot in Chandigarh. We spend a lot of our time around copier machines and printers. The sound of machines running is basically the background noise of our lives. Sometimes the place smells like toner and fresh paper. It isn’t a fancy setup by any means. We have some old desks and a few chairs for when people need to wait. In the afternoons, you can hear the muffled sounds from the movie theater area or the people walking through the sector. We have been in this location for a while, so we know most of the people who work in the neighboring offices. We usually start the day early with a lot of cleaning because dust gets everywhere in these machines. It is mostly just about keeping things running. When a machine breaks down, it gets stressful, but usually, it is just a lot of routine tasks. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea when it gets cold in the winter. It’s a practical space for practical work. Nothing more to it. We just handle the copies and the repairs as they come.
