Documentation Officer

We are sitting over here in Yamuna Nagar, right near the I.T.I in Shivpuri-B. It's a busy little spot, number 159 to be exact. If you know the area, you know how the traffic gets around the institute. Most of our days are spent buried in papers and folders. Being a documentation officer isn't exactly a glamorous job, but it is what we do here in Haryana. We have a small desk, a couple of chairs that have seen better days, and a computer that sometimes takes its time to wake up. It gets pretty hot in the summers, so the fan is usually going full speed. People come in with all sorts of forms and questions about their records. We try to keep things organized, even when the stacks of paper get a bit high. It’s mostly just us handling the daily grind, making sure the stamps are in the right place and the signatures are where they need to be. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out or work by the light from the window. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, so the neighbors all know us. There isn't much to say other than we show up every morning, open the shutters, and start going through the files. It's a lot of reading and checking names.
