Dimple Plastics(Sethia)

Dimple Plastics(Sethia) is based in Vpo. Lohara, which is in the Amb Tehsil of Una district. It is up in Himachal Pradesh, so the air is a bit cleaner than in the cities. We have a factory here where we work with plastic materials. It’s a family-run kind of thing, which is why Sethia is in the name. We’ve been in Lohara for a long time. Most of the people who work here live in the village or close by. We make different plastic items that people use in their daily lives. The machines can be loud, but we are used to the noise by now. We aren't a massive corporation with thousands of employees. It is just a local business trying to make a living. The hills around here are nice to look at when we take our tea breaks. Sometimes the roads get blocked when it rains heavy in the mountains, so getting supplies can be tricky. We just deal with those things as they come. We don't have a fancy showroom. People who need our products usually just come straight to the factory. We focus on getting the orders right and keeping the machines running. It’s basic manufacturing work. We like being part of the community here in Una. It is a quiet life but we stay busy enough with the plastics and the day to day running of the workshop.
