Dhiman Vishal Architect

You can find me at 27, 1St Floor, in Sector-27 A. I’m Dhiman Vishal, and I’ve set up my architectural practice here in this quiet corner of the sector. The office is on the first floor, so you have to walk up the stairs, but it’s a good way to get a bit of exercise during the day. It’s a fairly basic setup with a couple of drafting boards and a computer that gets a bit slow when I’m running big files. I like working in Sector-27 A because it’s not as chaotic as some other parts of the city. I can usually hear the birds outside while I’m working on a floor plan. My days are mostly spent drawing or talking to contractors on the phone to see why a delivery is late. I don't have a lot of staff, so I end up doing most of the tasks myself, from the actual design work to filing the taxes. It’s a lot to keep track of, but I prefer being involved in every part of the process. Sometimes a client will come by with a rough sketch on a napkin, and we’ll spend an hour just talking about how to make it real. I don't use a lot of fancy talk; I just explain things as they are. The office gets a lot of sunlight in the morning, which makes it a nice place to start the day. I’ve been here for several years and I’ve gotten to know the area quite well.
