Devra Architects

Devra Architects is located on the second floor of Sco-79 in the Omaxe City Extension of Chandigarh. We’ve been here for some time now, working on different building designs and plans. Being an architect is a lot more than just drawing pretty pictures on a computer. It involves a lot of sitting in the office figuring out technical details and then heading out to dusty sites to see if the builders are following the plans correctly. We don't have a massive team, just a few of us who know our way around a blueprint. Chandigarh has a specific way of doing things, and we try to work with that while making sure every house or office is functional. We don't use any fancy marketing talk or promotional slogans. We just focus on where the walls should go and how to get enough light into a room. It’s a lot of back and forth with clients and the people who give out the building permits. Sometimes it can be a slow process, but we stick with it. Our office is a bit of a mess with rolls of paper and various samples everywhere. We aren't interested in being the most famous firm in town. We just want to do solid, practical work that people can actually live in. Most of our work comes from word of mouth, which we like. It’s just us doing our job.
