Our unit is over in Phase 1 of the Industrial Area, specifically at number 132. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but once you’re in the area, it’s easy to find. Being part of CDIL means we have some history behind us, but this specific spot feels like its own little world. The industrial area is always full of trucks and the smell of machinery. Our building is pretty straightforward—big rooms, concrete floors, and plenty of light from the windows. We don't spend much on fancy furniture because we’d rather have space to move around. Usually, there’s a hum of activity throughout the day. People are coming and going, checking on things, or just having a quick chat during a break. We’ve got a mix of older workers who have been here forever and some newer faces too. It’s a good balance. We don't really do big corporate events. Most of the time, our meetings happen over a quick cup of coffee in the corner of the workspace. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. If something needs fixing, one of us just grabs a tool and does it. We keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand. By the time the shift ends, we’re usually ready to head out and beat the traffic on the main road. It’s hard work, but it feels good to get things done at the end of the day. It’s just how things are for us, and we are fine with that.
