Down at Plot No.14 in Phase-I of the industrial area, you’ll find us at Columbus Electronic. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a typical spot for an electronics outfit. We spend most of our time dealing with circuit boards and various components that come through the door. It gets quite noisy sometimes because of the other workshops nearby. We have a few benches set up for assembly and some old shelves where we keep the finished stuff. The air usually smells a bit like solder. We don't have a big reception area or anyone to greet you with a script. It’s just the people who do the work. If you walk in, you might see someone fixing a machine or counting out parts for a batch order. It’s a lot of manual work and paying attention to small details. We keep our hours pretty steady, starting early and leaving when the jobs are done for the day. Sometimes the power goes out in the industrial area, which stops everything, but we just wait it out. It’s a practical way to earn a living. We’ve been in this specific plot for years and we know the neighbors well. Everyone around here is just trying to get their production numbers right. We don't worry about being fancy. We just focus on getting the electronics out the door correctly and making sure the counts are accurate.
