Cargo Carrier India Ltd

Our place is in Sector 26 of Panchkula. It is a bit of a drive from the main city center, but it’s a good spot for trucks. Cargo Carrier India Ltd has been operating out of this 521 address for a good number of years. The office is mostly just a front for the yard where the transport vehicles are kept. It gets quite dusty around here when the wind picks up across Haryana. We have a few computers that are a bit old, but they still get the job done. Most of the day is spent talking to drivers on their mobile phones to see where they have reached. It’s a lot of waiting and then a lot of rushing all at once. The furniture is basic and there are stacks of old ledgers in the corner from years ago. We don't bother with fancy carpets or anything like that because people are always walking in with boots on. It’s a straightforward business. We see a lot of the same faces every week. Panchkula is a bit quieter than Chandigarh, which we like. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to sit and wait for the generator to kick in. We don't have a big sign out front, just the number 521. We just do the daily work of moving freight from one point to another without much trouble. The tea here is strong and it keeps the staff awake during long shifts.
