Bipin Kumar Malik Architect

My office is tucked away in Sector-66B, actually part of the Tender Heart School area where Shobha Malik is. It is a bit of an unusual spot for an architect's office, but it works for me. Most of my day is spent hunched over a drawing board or clicking away on the computer. I deal with all kinds of building plans and site layouts. Being near a school means there is a lot of noise in the mornings and when the kids leave, but otherwise, it is a decent place to think. People usually call first before coming over because the location can be a little confusing if you aren't from around here. I keep my samples and blueprints in stacks around the room. It’s not the most organized looking place, but I know where everything is. Clients come by to look at sketches and we talk about what they want to build. Sometimes we spend hours just arguing over where a wall should go or how big a window needs to be. It is just me here most of the time. I handle the site visits too, so I am often out in the sun checking on how the brickwork is going. It's a lot of responsibility to make sure things don't fall down or look wrong. I just take it one project at a time and try to keep my head down as Bipin Kumar Malik Architect.
