Bedi Hospital

Bedi Hospital is located at House Number 182 A in Sector 33, Chandigarh. Since it’s Chandigarh, the sectors are laid out pretty clearly, and we’re right in the residential part of 33. We aren’t one of those massive hospitals with hundreds of beds and a cafeteria. It’s more of a local facility that’s been part of the community for a long time. The building looks more like a large house than a typical hospital, which I think makes people feel a little less nervous when they come in. We have several rooms for patients and the basic medical setups you’d expect. The staff here is small, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. There’s a bit of a garden area out front that we try to keep tidy, though the hedge grows faster than we can cut it sometimes. We’ve seen a lot of families come through these doors over the years. It’s a practical place to get treated without the bells and whistles of a big city medical center. We keep our own records and manage the schedule as best as we can. Sometimes things get a bit behind if an emergency comes in, but that’s just the nature of the work. It’s an honest, local hospital run by people who actually live around here and care about how the sector is doing.
