Our office is at 1400 in Sector 35 D, right in the middle of Chandigarh. Working in this city is quite different from other places because everything is so organized and laid out in blocks. We have a lot to manage every day, and the building stays pretty busy from morning until evening. It is not the kind of place where you find fancy art on the walls or leather sofas in the waiting area. It is a government-style setup where files and paperwork are the main focus. We deal with a lot of coordination and planning, making sure the systems we are responsible for keep running without any major hiccups. Most of us have our own routines, grabbing a quick lunch at the local markets in the sector or walking around during the breaks. The trees in Chandigarh make the walk to the office quite nice, even in the summer heat. We don't do much in the way of promotion because everyone around here already knows who we are and what we do. It is just a steady, predictable environment where we focus on the long-term tasks at hand. Sometimes the meetings go on for a bit too long, but that is just part of the job. We are just a group of people doing our part to keep the local infrastructure in good shape for everyone else.
