People usually find us because they have some noise coming from under the hood. We have been sitting here at Sector 28 on the circular road for quite a few years now. The shop isn't much to look at, just a lot of tools scattered around and the smell of old engine oil that never really goes away. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front shutters. My hands are almost always black from the grease, even after washing them five times. We mostly just spend the day taking things apart and trying to put them back together so they run better. Sometimes the parts arrive late from the supplier, which is annoying for everyone, but that's just how things go. The traffic on this road is constant, and the dust from the street settles on everything we own. We don’t have fancy waiting rooms or anything like that. Usually, people just stand around or find a stool while we look at their brakes or change their oil. It’s a messy job, but it keeps the neighborhood moving. I remember when this whole area had fewer buildings, but now it’s crowded with cars and shops everywhere you look. We keep the doors open from morning until the sun goes down, just handling whatever vehicle rolls in through the gate. There is always a pile of old tires in the corner that we need to clear out eventually.
