Ash & Jay Estate Llp is tucked away at H.No. 216 in Sector 21C. It’s a quiet street for the most part, which helps when we’re trying to focus on contracts. The name comes from the founders, and we’ve kept the team small on purpose. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll just find one of us sitting there working through the latest listings. Most of our time is spent out on the road looking at properties or meeting people who want to move into the sector. Sector 21C has a specific feel to it, and we’ve lived and worked around here long enough to know the quirks of the houses. The office is basically a few rooms with filing cabinets and a big table for maps. We do a lot of our own legwork because it’s the only way to make sure things are right. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks and stays there for a week until we have a slow afternoon to sort it. It’s not a polished corporate environment, just a place where real estate work gets handled. We keep regular hours, but often find ourselves answering calls late in the evening. That’s just the way this business goes. We like being in a house rather than a mall; it feels more personal and less like a factory.
