Anil Singh Thakur Architect

I am Anil Singh Thakur and my architecture practice is based in Sco 373-74 over in Sector 35-B. I’ve been working out of this office for a good number of years now. It is a typical Sector 35 setup, with lots of other businesses around us. My day usually starts with checking emails and then getting into the actual design work. I don't have a massive staff, just a couple of people who help with the technical drawings and the site visits. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and making sure they actually follow the plans we gave them. Architecture is a lot of back and forth like that. You draw something, someone says it’s too expensive, then you change it. I like being in Sector 35-B because it is central and easy for people to find. We get a lot of walk-ins who just want to know if they can add a second floor to their home. I try to give them a straight answer without using too much technical talk. It is a practical business. We deal with bricks, cement, and steel every day. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty with all the site samples, but that’s part of it. We aren't interested in being fancy; we just want to make sure the buildings we design are solid and do what the owners need them to do for years to come.
